By purchasing VitaMeal you're participating in the Nourish the Children Initiative.

Instead of giving money to a charity, which may be used for administrative costs, your entire donation of VitaMeal will give food to children. These donations will be delivered by Feed The Children, a leading humanitarian organisation, to children in developing nations around the world.

You can make a one-off donation of VitaMeal or you can choose to set up a monthly donation via the Automatic Delivery Program (ADP).

Napoleon Dzombe, the manager of the VitaMeal plant in Lilongwe, Malawi, says "The advantage of donating monthly is that it allows us to plan our activities further in advance. We produce only as much VitaMeal as we are able to pay for. If we know in advance how much money will be coming in, it actually saves us money by allowing us to make the best possible use of our resources."

For every donation of the five-bag option, the company adds one bag, feeding an additional child for 30 days.  For every eight bags donated via the one and two-bag options, the company adds one bag.
